Biotechnology

The Biotechnology Section at ICAR-NIBSM, Raipur is well equipped with instruments and facilities to carry out the research pertaining Molecular Biology and Virology, which include Thermal cycler, refrigerated centrifuge, Laminar Air Flow chamber, -80°C and -20°C deep freezers. In addition, glass house chambers for white fly multiplication, seedling maintenance and inoculation procedures is also available. The section is also equipped with Plant Growth facility with controlled humidity, temperature, light and other required parameters for maintenance of plant growth and development.
