Farm Facilities

ICAR-NIBSM farm is comprised of 120 acres of arable land. Diversified crops are grown in the farm namely rice, wheat. Chickpea, pigeonpea, millets, rapeseed and mustard, soybean, brinjal, cucurbits etc. The farm is well equipped with two tractors of 50 and 55 hp power, cultivator, seed drill, farm godown, threshing floor and automatic weather station. Farm is well irrigated with three borewells and also through water canals.

Modern farm development is being under taken with laser land leveling along with preparation of different blocks for different agricultural and horticultural crops including preparation of micro plotsand sick plots.
